TheraRelief™ Smart Cupping Device

I got this cupping device as a therapeutic device to see if it would help with some minor aches and pains. Cupping draws blood to the problem areas by using suction and is commonly done using heat and glass cups. This device is plastic but I has an air pump built in and man is it strong. The suction is very good and you have to be careful because it can leave blemishes if left in one area for too long. It has an adjustable setting for suction which is nice and the shape and design are comfortable even under suction. Overall really nice.

This item is easy to charge and very sturdy. It is also attractively packaged. For people like me who are not familiar with cupping therapy, it is important to read the instructions and go slowly and start with lowest suction and heat settings. I am slowly learning to use this device.

I'm new to cupping but had heard great things, so I thought I'd give it a try. While I can't say whether it was effective in treating my injury, I can say I've used it multiple times and expect to continue using it. This makes the process easy. Just put it where you want it, turn it on, set the intensity of the suction and heat, and the time, and off you go. So it works, but there are some issues with using it you need to know about. 1. So set the intensity, there is only an "up" button. So to lower the intensity you need to cycle all the way through to max and then back to 1. If found 2 to be just on the edge of my tolerance, so max is pretty intense in my book. 2. It doesn't release the suction when your session is done. There's a release suction button for that. Which means after you're done, you need to turn the unit back on to release the suction and take it off.3. It's pretty big. Which might be great for your back or hammies, but makes it tough to fit on my size 8.5 foot. Not necessarily an issue, but be aware

My fiance and I have never tried cupping before but he has a lot of muscle spasms and knots in his back so I decided to order this. I'm glad I did. This little fella charges up quickly and came with an instruction booklet that I highly recommend you read first before trying. This thing is so powerful and has 12 different suction strengths. We've only used the first few and that was more than enough for us as beginners. There are four buttons. One turns on the warming red lights. One changes the intensity of the suction. One is the On/Off. And the most important one is the Release/pause button. If it gets too intense, it immediately releases which is awesome. It also has a countdown for 20 minutes in the center.Box also came with extra filters which are for using this with massage oils. I don't plan on using it like that but it was nice that they included extras. This thing is GREAT quality and would be a great gift. It looks crazy when it starts sucking your skin/muscle up into the cup but it feels really good. It will leave a bruise on the skin at first but this is normal! Just be aware. It wasn't super sensitive, so basically just a surface bruise. But I can see how this would work with muscle tension if you use it consistently.

I tried this out and not sure what to think about it honestly. It seems to do as it says but I don't think I have enough experience with it to really say much. It has good suction enough to leave bruises. It didn't feel bad but I think I'll need a second person to use it more effectively.
